The Breakfast show
The day really starts off with the breakfast show presen

The late morning Show
The late morning packs a punch with presenter Dave "bling" Monkey. He’s a bit like David Frost but much, much cheaper. He tackles the big issues of the day and invites listeners to join in by e-mail, text and telephone. His show is like a theme park. It is a Roller Coaster ride. No matter what the issues, he will never Dodgem. If he’s unsure he Maypole the people of Essex and he will Never Never Land a duff guest.
Etholle Gorgeous presents the middle of the day show.
It’s called the middle of the day show because it’s on in the middle of the day. This is the time when most people are having a nap. It’s sort of a magazine show, a bit like Blue Peter for grownups. One of the key features of the show is “the burning question” where burning questions are answered. The only burning question I’d like to ask is, “why is a gorgeous bird like this wasted on this show”?
The afternoon show is a bit higgledy pigedy. All sorts of people present it. It used to be simple but someone mucked it up. Bring back the old days. Shady Nine is a good laugh though and is always fun to listen to. She’s a thespian but as we are an equal opportunity employer we don’t mind. Tim Scrotum is also a good sport. It fills a gap and offers more than other local stations so we still listen.
The drive ti
me show is presented by veteran broadcaster and anchorman John Haze. John has been in the business for nearly eighty years. He first started on a pirate radio ship (The Mayflower). John was the first presenter to own a 16 valve car; it had 8 in the engine and another 8 in the wireless. John’s silky smooth professionalism always shines through. At the Essex Herald we always listen to Mr Haze. We used to love the Sunday morning show, “John’s journey”. It’s still called John’s journey but has a different presenter. No way near as good. Bring back big John
